Ava's First Pool Day

Yesterday we took Ava swimming for the first time....I was so excited and nervous, but she did great! She didn't cry at all and even though she wasn't quite sure what to do when she got in the water I think she enjoyed herself.

A huge answer to prayers has came to our family in the last 2 weeks....Ava began to raise her right arm! She had nerve damage from her birth and had not been able to raise her arm at all. She could move her wrist and fingers, but no shoulder movement. On May 29, 2011 Dustin and I witnessed her raise her arm for the first time and she has done it various times since. What an answer to our prayers! Good job Big Girl!
